Sujith is an Indo-Canadian film director.

 A description of my artistic life would look very much like two divergent paths at the mouth of a forest. 

      Two of my great passions as an artist are making Movies and Acting in Theater, though in Theater I seek more in to exploring as an actor, similarly I chose to explore the creative space behind the Camera, when it comes to Movies. I believe creating art is the motive, which makes me to handle different titles in my life. 

      On one hand is my background as a theater artist where I have encountered great opportunity to work with renowned artist around the globe in my career. I have performed all around India, Japan, and UAE & Singapore and in Canada. Being working in theater the ambition as a crafts man in visual media started sprouting in me. Then, I started working in Television since 2003,starting as an actor and program host, I realize the creative space behind the camera. That is where the road starts to split. Those credits detailed in my Biography have greatly enriched my life and helped me to develop the craft that now allows me to pursue my career as a Film Maker.

     Being working in television and theater the ambition to establish my talents in to a bigger platform grew up, that’s when I started developing plots for scripts. Later, I made an-other life changing decision in my life, migrating  to Canada, before quitting the job in television as senior producer, I was dreaming about to make my movie one day. The immigrant life and adjusting to the new situations, bringing family and providing them a life in Canada become my priority and I kept my dreams of making a feature films aside for a while. 

         In 2018,  I started  to make my debut film, titled “Rameshan Oru peralla”, this was made in my native language “Malayalam”, the movie has done its world premiere in Edmonton on June 9th 2019,at Indian film festivals of Alberta, and I have been awarded with best Debut director. Officially the film was released in August 16th 2019. Previously, I have created few short films, which got several appreciations during my early directorial career. Apart from those above mentioned job titles lately, I started doing Cinematography and Editing and Social media Management  as well.
